Konin is a city located in central Poland, in the eastern part of the Wielkopolska (Grand Poland). The population of the city is now 83,400 people. The A2 Motorway connecting Warsaw to Poznań, and being a part of international route Berlin - Moscow, runs through the city. The national north - south Highway No 25 (Bydgoszcz - Kalisz) also runs through our city. The other important facets, which give additional transporting opportunities are the railway Berlin - Moscow, and the river port on the Warta, which, via the network of canals and lakes connect Konin with the Baltic sea.
